Meticulous coordination and artful detailing are integral to the success of this residential addition in Historic Frederick, Maryland. Custom Chippendale handrails, raised exterior panels and brick foundation walls tie seamlessly into the 125 year old Georgian Colonial. A previously exterior brick wall and stunning arched entrances act as a backdrop for the new kitchen and family room. Although modest from the street view, the new addition creates multiple connections to the back yard and a covered porch opens to an intimate courtyard at the pool area. Custom cabinetry, wood windows, and interior trim details pair with contemporary lighting and shade control, entertainment systems and appliances for improved functionality and comfort for the modern family.
